A) The Total Cost includes 1 year of free FirstClass Technical Support (with an 800 telephone number) plus 1 year of free Upgrades (usually 2 upgrades per year). Thereafter, for a small annual Maintenance and Support fee, the free Technical Support and regular Upgrades is continued.
B) The Diocese will supply a static IP connection for the Server --- it may be part of the Internet connection used by the Diocesan Office. The Server will normally be located in a small corner of the Diocesan Office out of the way. The Diocese will also supply a registered domain name, unless this already exists.
C) The Server normally comes with a Windows Operating System, but since the FirstClass System is multi-system, you can order it for MAC or Linux instead. Users can use any form of FirstClass Client (Windows, MAC, or Linux) to access the Diocesan Communication System. The FirstClass Client for Users is free.
D) It is expected that we may park our RV next to the Diocesan Office or a Parish Hall for the necessary week of Installation and some of the Training Workshops, and that electric power and a water hose will be made available for the RV (5th wheel). We will travel to different areas of the Diocese to present the Training Workshops wherever needed. The RV is our living quarters during that time. Training is usually presented in one of the Rooms of a Parish Hall.
